A little about us before you reach out to us. Our name isn’t just a location; it’s a mindset. As proud Northern guys, Mike & Nathan bring those classic Northern characteristics to everything we do. We are genuinely friendly, hard-working, and absolutely love our craft.
Honest Filmmaking, Cinematic Soul
We understand that booking wedding suppliers can feel overwhelming. Too often, couples face endless emails, confusing jargon, and the fear that their videographer is going to turn their intimate day into an intrusive film set.
That is the exact opposite of how we operate. We are pushing back against the era of staged content creation to bring wedding films back to reality.
Real Experience, No Random Freelancers
When you book us, you get us. Mike and Nathan. We never pass your date off to random freelancers. Together, we bring over 35 years of professional production experience. This means that while our approach is strictly fly-on-the-wall documentary, the final product features the colour grading, audio mixing, and drone cinematography of a high-end commercial film.
We purposefully avoid fast-moving video trends or cheesy effects that will look dated in five years. We aren’t there to direct your wedding; we are there to preserve it. When you watch your film in ten or twenty years, we want you to remember exactly how the day felt, not just how we told you to stand.
Mike
When Mike isn’t working on projects, you’ll most likely find him;
Scouring the North (and South) for the perfect hiking trail (or the perfect pub lunch).
Watching football and supporting his local team. Up the Tigers! He needs someone to talk to as Nathan is clueless to the sport.
Renovating his cottage that dates back to the 1800’s. It’s a passion and a curse, depending on the job.
With his partner and his two basset hounds, Penny and Basil.
Nathan
When Nathan hasn’t got a camera in his hand, you’ll usually find him;
Spending time with his son and partner. Taking adventures, going swimming, enjoying local parks and getting lost with a handful of snacks.
Learning to play guitar so he can shred up some of his youth and pretend he’s still got hair half way down his back!
Watching movies and true crime documentaries or whatever jumps out of the many subscriptions he pays for. Too many!
Looking after his two cats, Bagheera and Cheddar.
